Mr. Keating has been involved in the construction industry since 1980.  He has been the General Manager and President of Blazy Construction, Inc. for 20 years. Under his leadership, the company has grown from $500,000 of bonding to over $20 million.  Kelly has overseen more than 65 projects with a total value of over $60 million. Kelly’s approach to management is based on a cooperative, synergetic style. He has built a team based upon mutual respect, trust and commitment. He believes that his staff and crews are the greatest assets to the company. This attitude extends to projects as Kelly keeps owner satisfaction as his highest priority through striving to deliver each project on-time and on-budget.

Mr. Nelson has worked in the construction field for over 30 years. He began working with Blazy Construction 15 years ago as a journeyman carpenter, was promoted to superintendent and then to his current position as a Project Manager. Ten years ago, Randy began to pursue design/build projects because he enjoys being involved in all phases of the building process. Randy also enjoys the challenge of creating a successful team. Randy gives generous time and energy to his projects and strives to keep communication with owners open, and problems to a minimum. His goals for every client are to see that they are satisfied with the end product, feel they received a good value for their dollar, change orders were minimal and the job ends early or on time.

Mack has over 30 years of construction experience in a wide variety of environments. He has worked in all over the State of Alaska in all aspects of carpentry and concrete. The scope of Mack’s experience spans commercial and residential building, as well as remodeling.  He has worked as a carpenter, foreman and superintendent. He has worked on several design/build projects. Working in varying environments, his experience in multiple roles and a wide variety of projects gives Mack a unique ability to work with diverse personalities and is adaptable to any situation. He has been on challenging projects, but always keeps his focus, keeps the crew on task and completes each job successfully. Mack is a valued, dedicated and dependable member of the Blazy Construction team.

Mike Clements has worked for Blazy construction for the past twelve years.  In that time he has been the Superintendent on twelve of our major projects.  Mike brings a great attitude and strong work ethic to the table and has been essential in the success of these projects and Blazy Construction.  His people skills are one of his greatest assets as he has a great sense of balance when working with the hands, the subcontractors or the owner’s representative.  At Blazy we have great confidence when Mike is running our job and representing the company.

Brandon graduated in December from the University of Texas at Tyler with a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management.  Since coming to work for Blazy in March he has become an invaluable resource for the design-build division.  Having recently graduated, Brandon brings to the company the current industry procedures and standards.  Additionally Brandon is knowledgeable in the technology needed in today’s construction industry, allow Blazy construction to become more competitive and efficient.

Rich is the main accountant for Blazy Construction.  He utilizes Timberline construction software to manage and track the finances.  Rich is also handles the IT issues at Blazy, he manages our network and webpage.  He continues to attend classes in the computer field to keep current on the ever-changing hardware and software options.  Rich also oversees our safety program.  He maintains weekly safety training for all employees, provides forklift certification, and maintains job specific safety plans.  He has completed several safety & industrial training classes covering OSHA standards and requirements.

Jeannie is the Office Manager for Blazy Construction.  She is the front-line contact in the office, and is able to streamline communication with owners by staying on top of information. She can often answer questions immediately, and is able to efficiently direct inquires to the proper person to get issues addressed as soon as possible.  Her friendly manner and ability to prioritize makes working with Blazy an enjoyable experience. Jeannie is gifted in organization, with an ability to multi-task, coordinating many projects at once. Using Timberline, Jeannie tracks all payables, produces submittals, files certified payrolls and processes payroll.    Jeannie's ability to coordinate people, tasks and her eye for detail makes her a valuable member of the Blazy team.
